Kojo Yankah, who served as a Minister of State during Jerry John Rawlings’ administration, has expressed strong dissatisfaction with the increasing cost of living in Ghana.
In a social media post, he mentioned that the rising cost of living is becoming overwhelming, particularly for pensioners.
He describes how his retired coworkers who receive less than Ghc 1000 lead a troubling life during their elderly years.
Kojo Yankah’s post shared via social media read “Truth is that the cost of Living in Ghana now is choking”.
Adding that “l can’t look at the face of a fellow pensioner. I don’t know what to tell those receiving below 1,000cedis a month (the cost of fuel to my village). It’s not funny any more; seriously!”
