DADDY LUMBA SACKED ROMAN FADA BEFORE HE DIED – Family Reveals and Issues Stern Warning

Widow and sister issue public warning, cautioning ex-manager against unauthorized funeral plans.

The family of the late Highlife legend, Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, has publicly revealed that the singer had terminated the appointment of his longtime associate, Philip Kwabena Agyeman Appiah-Kubi, known as Roman Fada, before his death.

In a strongly-worded press release dated November 6, 2025, the family issued a stern warning to Roman Fada to cease all unauthorized activities related to the late musician’s funeral, describing his actions as “misleading, unauthorized, and detrimental.”

The statement, signed by the widow, Mrs. Akosua Serwah Fosuh, and the singer’s sister, Ms. Ernestina Brennpomaa Fosuh, clarified the former manager’s status in no uncertain terms.

“The family also wishes to clarify that the position Mr. Appiah-Kubi continues to claim—as ‘manager’ of the late Mr. Fosuh—was officially terminated by the late Mr. Fosuh himself before his passing, a fact he is well aware of,” the release stated.

This revelation comes as the family accuses Roman Fada of spreading false information and distributing unauthorized funeral invitations with incorrect dates while sensitive family negotiations are ongoing.

The family has therefore ordered Roman Fada to immediately:

  • Cease making public statements about the late musician or his funeral.
  • Stop distributing or promoting any unauthorized funeral materials.
  • Desist from interfering in any private family discussions.

Emphasizing that Roman Fada is not a family member and holds no legal, moral, or traditional authority to act on their behalf, the family urged the public and media to disregard any information not coming directly from the official Fosuh Family Communications Office.

The statement concluded with a warning that any further interference would leave them with no option but to pursue legal action to protect the dignity and legacy of the late Highlife icon, Daddy Lumba.
