DADDY LUMBA’S SISTER DRAGS THEIR ABUSUAPANIN TO KUMASI CENTRAL POLICE OVER MISSING FUNERAL FUNDS

Daddy Lumba’s elder sister, Akosua Brempomaah, has reportedly filed a complaint against their uncle Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu at the Kumasi Central Police Station, intensifying the ongoing familial and legal drama surrounding the late highlife icon.

The case is related to the purported misappropriation and disappearance of money from the musician’s burial account, as revealed by YouTuber and blogger Grace TV on the TikTok channel “Koforidua Flowers.”

According to the Kumasi report, on November 19, 2025, Madam Ernestina Fosuh reported the issue to authorities with the help of hiplife legend turned evangelist Papa Shee and other family members.

The discovery of a signed check for a sizable withdrawal from the funeral account is at the heart of the allegation.

According to reports, Ms. Fosuh believes the money was supposed to be used to erect a billboard promoting the impending funeral.

Given that the official funeral date has not yet been set due to the ongoing legal dispute over Daddy Lumba’s marital status and estate, Ernestina Fosuh sees this as a waste of money.

Members of the now-dissolved funeral committee, led by Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu, are in charge of the funeral account, which was first established prior to Daddy Lumba’s one-week observance.

The account’s finances have previously been the subject of debate.
