DEFENSE MINISTER, OMANE BOAMAH REHABILITATES ROADS AT POPE JOHN SHS
Dr. Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, Minister of Defence, has made it possible to install an asphalt overlay on the roadways of Pope John Senior High and Minor Seminary in Koforidua-Effiduase, Eastern Region, in a touching demonstration of devotion to his alma mater.
The Mahama government’s project, which was started in advance of the school’s impending 67th anniversary, has revitalized the campus and the surrounding area.
Once in poor condition, the road system now has a smooth, long-lasting surface that makes it simple for tourists, employees, and students to move around.
The project was made possible by Dr. Omane Boamah, a Cabinet Minister in the government of President John Dramani Mahama and a graduate of the esteemed university, who showed his everlasting dedication to give back to his community.
“The aim is to fix the deplorable nature of the road network to facilitate the free movement of staff, students, and visitors, smooth traffic control, whilst improving productivity,” he explained.
