Majid Michel advises people who are depressed to calm down because it’s not the end of the world for them.
The Ghanaian actor believes that there is no way on earth for all human problems to be solved. According to Majid, humans will continue to experience untold hardship because suffering doesn’t cease until death.
The actor was criticizing pastors who promise people heaven on earth while preying on their troubles.
Majid Michel stated that pastors should stop making such claims to their congregations in an interview with TV XYZ.
He claimed that such statements are inaccurate because depression, which is also a form of sadness or difficulty, affects people all the time.
“Pastors should stop telling their congregations that their troubles are over. That’s a lie, your trouble will only be over when you die”.
He added that “depression is not a bad thing, depression is your inner spirit indicating to yourself, your conscious mind that where we are is not good, let’s move on“.
The actor emphasized that having a depressive episode is not a bad thing, therefore people need not be alarmed if they do.
