The National Cathedral has been in the news for many controversies ever since President Akufo-Addo announced its construction.
Many people, including famous people, musicians, and ministers of God, have endorsed or decried the construction of the structure.
Diana Hamilton, a gospel singer who has not yet commented on it is adamant on her stance to keep mute over it.
On Thursday, the singer said that she had purposefully avoided talking about the problems and squabbles surrounding the National Cathedral.
She said on the Work and Happiness show on Adom FM that she always exercises caution when discussing subjects about which she knows very little.
According to Diana Hamilton, she does not involve herself in political issues adding “this is a very dicey topic for me.”
“With things that I don’t know much about, I am careful not to talk about them. With governance, I do not do well with politics, I struggle to comment on issues that I don’t know the facts,” she told host OPD on Adom FM’s Work and Happiness show.
She continued by pointing out that everyone else who has commented on the cathedral’s construction may have access to information that they used to create their opinions.
But “it is a topic I would like to hold on to for now…before I make any comment, I would like to get my facts right,” Diana Hamilton said.
