Socialite Efia Odo has come to the defence of dancehall superstar Stonebwoy following social media trolls that surfaced after his performance at Davido and Chioma’s wedding in Miami on August 10, 2025.
A viral video from the event showed the “Jejereje” hitmaker bending down to pick something from the floor during his set. While some online commentators alleged he was scooping up dollar bills sprayed on the couple, Efia Odo says that’s far from the truth.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on August 12, 2025, she clarified that Stonebwoy was retrieving a bracelet that had slipped from his wrist mid-performance.
“He literally picked up his bracelet that came off his wrist! Bibini dierr,” Efia Odo posted.
The video, which continues to circulate on social platforms, has sparked debate, with many of the musician’s fans echoing Efia Odo’s defence and criticising those spreading false narratives.
