Rapper Medikal believes that the citizens of Ghana made the correct decision in the 2024 elections.
Ghana held elections to select new leaders who will manage the nation’s matters for the upcoming four years.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP), the ruling political party, suffered a significant defeat in the fiercely contested elections.
The ruling political party lost the majority of their seats in Parliament to the National Democratic Congress.
In an interview with Accra-based TV3, Medikal expressed that selecting a leader in 2024 is the most favorable choice the people of Ghana could make.
He said, “I voted,” when he was asked if he cast his ballot, adding that “I think Ghana made the right choice,” .
On whether he trusts the new government to deliver, he said, “The new government, I don’t trust them. I just feel I need to give them the benefit of the doubt because of past experiences. I believe Mahama small but now I don’t trust anyone. I have 60% believe in Mahama and I think they will help the creative arts because the people they work with are people who are well vested in the creative arts”.
