Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has urged Ghanaians to choose who to vote for in the 2024 elections based on how the two main parties have positively affected their lives.
He advised Ghanaians to critically assess the NPP government’s policies and projects in the last seven and a half years and juxtapose them with the NDC’s before the upcoming December elections.
While on his campaign tour, Dr Bawumia emphasized at a community event in Gbintiri that the success of a government that focuses on its people can be measured by how its policies and initiatives benefit the everyday Ghanaian.
“The NPP government has made it possible for every Ghanaian child to access Secondary education through Free SHS. The government has made it possible for every Ghanaian to enjoy banking services with mobile money interoperability.
“Today, because of the use of drones, we can send medicine and other medical supplies to remote places in Ghana. You can renew your Health Insurance from your phone. Indeed, there are so many initiatives this NPP government has implemented to make life better for everyone.
“We in NPP have the vision and the ideas to transform Ghana, unlike our opponents who are only interested in Guinea fowls that fly away and little hen coops. Our record of development in the north is unmatched and there for all to see, from the creation of new regions to the provision of schools, water, roads, hospitals and many more,” he stated
Anticipating a more promising future, Dr. Bawumia highlighted that the Nana Akufo-Addo administration has set the foundation for development.
He stated that the upcoming government, led by him, will continue to introduce measures to boost the economy and support industries, enhance healthcare services, offer better and more accessible education through information and communication technology, and enhance the living standards of the average citizen in Ghana.
