Habiba Sinare, the former wife of Ghanaian footballer Majeed Waris, has given a strong message to those who have been criticizing her after her recent comments on Northern Men and the challenges of being married to them.
As per her, she is open to criticism but attacking her mother is off-limits.
This came after Habiba declared firmly that following her awful ordeal, she would never marry a Northerner again. During a conversation with Ms. Gee, she mentioned that her ex-husband, Waris, always put his family first instead of their relationship, which greatly hurt her emotionally.
“He told me he wouldn’t choose me over his family,” Habiba revealed, “That sentence still echoes in my life. When he said that, I thought, ‘Wow, I wasn’t family after all. I told him, ‘I’m done. There’s nothing left. I don’t feel anything for you any more”. She disclosed.
In response, a few individuals who did not agree with her broad statement about Northern men criticized her. They criticized her for insulting men from her local area.
However, Habiba is prepared to protect herself and her mother if they face any disrespect.
