Award-winning musician Fancy Gadam, who resides in Tamle, claims he was not paid for any musical performances this holiday season because the event planners couldn’t afford him.
December is among the busiest months of the year. This month is going to be packed with musical performances and events. AfroChella and AfroNation are notable concerts in December.
Fancy Gadam claims that despite not performing any shows in December, he backed his brother at the Bukom Arena.
“This December I didn’t play shows, I supported my brother at the Bukom Arena. Maybe you would have to ask the event organizers. I don’t know maybe they are scared of my rates, maybe”, Fancy Gadam said when asked why he didn’t play shows this December.
Fancy Gadam claims in an interview with GHOne TV that event planners were unable to hire him because he would only accept payments of GHC100,000.
“You know if you want somebody who can fill the stadium at your show you know how much you would pay. Like Ghc 100,000. I can’t say they don’t have that money but maybe using me and other artists might have cost them”. He bragged
