Former Promoter, for Ohemaa Mercy, Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu known popularly as KOKA has been granted bail by an Accra Circuit Court.
Reports indicate that he was given bail amounting to GHC 2000, along with one surety.
Ohemaa Mercy arrested KOKA for making life-threatening threats against her.
The musician, in a statement, confirmed the arrest was not related to Becky from Joy News but instead to threats against her life.
It came to light in court that KOKA had warned he would send goons to retrieve the money Ohemaa Mercy owed him.
It is claimed that he has been sending threatening messages to the gospel musician because she refused to pay him Ghc 8,500 she owed him after he ended their working relationship that began in 2021.
Nonetheless, KOKA refuted the claim, stating that he was simply trying to collect money owed to him and had no intention of harming the artist.
KOKA was held in custody until September 26, when he was granted bail.
