Legendary Ghanaian musician, Rex Omar explained why he has never written a song for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) even though he is a strong supporter.
Rex Omar strongly declared that NDC consistently creates the top campaign songs, and gospel artist Nacee does it exceptionally well.
“When it comes to music I would say that every song has a purpose that it serves and my brother Nacee has been doing very well in this regard.
“Every song Nacee does for the NDC is on point and it serves the purpose for the party so there’s no need for me to duplicate it,” he told Amansan Krakye on Property FM
“If he does a song for the NDC and is very appropriate and serves our purpose we ought to use it for the reason for which it was composed because every song is a song.
“Every truthful person will tell you that when it comes to campaign songs in Ghana, NDC is number one and no song can beat the 24-hour economy song done by Nacee,” Rex Omar added.
