EVERYWHERE, PEOPLE WITH PROSTATE PROBLEM STAND TRIAL, BY NOT COMING FORWARD HE MAY WORSEN HIS CASE — Kwesi Pratt

Ace Journalist and Political analyst, Kwesi Pratt has warned that avoiding the courts could backfire and urged former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta to confront accusations head-on.
Pratt described the moment when Ofori-Atta seemed physically ill at work on Good Morning Ghana, which was recorded by MyNewsGh.
“He was slow, bloated, and visibly unwell. People told him to step down,” Pratt said. “But he insisted that Ghana’s needs came first. He was willing to risk his health to serve the country.”
“Everywhere in the world, people with prostate problems stand trial or continue their duties. Some judges even have similar conditions. It’s not sufficient grounds to avoid facing charges.”
Concerns regarding Ofori-Atta’s disappearance were also voiced by the journalist.
“By not coming forward, he may have worsened his case. Judges could now view him as a flight risk.
“Others in his position have been granted bail, but he may not have the same advantage,” Pratt explained.
Addressing potential claims of unfair courts, Pratt noted, “The judiciary hasn’t changed. Most judges were appointed during his administration. He can’t claim the courts are kangaroo courts now.”
Pratt concluded by urging fairness for all Ghanaians. “We should insist on justice for every citizen, not just political elites. It’s about upholding the law, not counting money. That principle should guide our approach to all leaders.”
