EX-PRESIDENT RAWLINGS SHOWS OFF HIS SOCCER SKILLS

Trust former President of Ghana Jerry John Rawlings to grab all the attention any day at any event.

Mr. Rawlings, who is also a retired soldier, kicked off a charity match organized by Peace Power Sports and Despite Group at the Accra Sports Stadium to honour the 1965 Black Stars team who won the Nations Cup on Farmers Day Friday December 4, 2015.

Before he kicked the ball to begin the charity games Mr. Rawlings showed the spectators and all present that he still got his game on.

Mr. Rawlings who officially dressed in caftan, black trouser and black boots went back, re-positioned his black trousers and kicked the ball as hard as he can and off course the crowd went wild and screamed as Papa J did his thing.

The games which was used to climax the Golden Jubilee Celebration of the 1965 Cup of Nations team was attended by several bigwigs’ personalities in the country including former President Jerry John Rawlings, Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi, Sports Minister Dr Mustapha Ahmed, Mr. Osei Kwame Despite, owner of the Despite Group of companies, Dr. Ofori Sarpong of Special Ice among others.
