Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, Fella Makafui has reacted to the allegations by her ex-husband Medikal.
The ex-couple revealed they are no longer together and are now in the midst of a legal separation process.
Recently, Medikal revealed troubling incidents in their marriage where he alleged that Fella Makafui called the police on him for requesting her cousin to leave his home.
Part of the allegations involved Medikal stating that Fella physically attacked him by striking his head with a coffee cup and hitting him multiple times.
In response to all of Medikal’s accusations, Fella Makafui stated that some of Medikal’s claims are not entirely accurate.
“Recently, however, my husband has been making a little too many public statements on our marriage, our beloved daughter, my family, and my businesses. These public statements, considerable parts of which are a great departure from the truth, have caused significant hurt to me, my family, and to my businesses,” part of the statement read.
She indicated that both of them have amicably resolved to end their four-year marriage.
The actress said out of respect for both families and in the best interest of their daughter, Island, she has decided “to resort to only lawful and appropriate forums” to address her grievances.
Fella went ahead to plead with the general public to allow her and her husband the needed privacy to deal with their issues.
