FORMER BLACK STARS PLAYER SULLEY MUNTARI IS SAFE IN DUBAI — Sammy Anim Addo Denies Arrest Reports

Sammy Anim Addo, the manager and representative of former Black Stars striker Asamoah Gyan, has refuted reports claiming that ex-Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari has been arrested in Dubai.
This follows prior allegations that the former star of AC and Inter Milan was detained in the United Arab Emirates.
However, Anim Addo stated on his verified X (previously Twitter) account on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, that Muntari is safe and presently residing in Dubai, where he is concentrating on his personal and professional obligations.
He called the claims untrue, advised the people to ignore them, and emphasised that the media outlets that disseminated the erroneous information ought to retract their articles and formally apologise.
Anim Addo also warned that Muntari’s attorneys would take legal action if this wasn’t done.
Sulley Muntari is safe and currently residing in Dubai, where he is focused on his personal affairs and business activities.
We urge the public to disregard the false reports circulating in the media. The outlets responsible for these publications are hereby warned to retract… https://t.co/rnFF6S4O1i
