FRED NUAMAH WITHDRAWS FROM NDC AYAWASO WEST WUOGON PRIMARY, ENDORSES JOHN DUMELO

Actor turned politician, Fred Nuamah, has officially informed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of his withdrawal from the race to become the party’s parliamentary candidate for the 2024 elections.

Nuamah’s withdrawal letter also included his endorsement for his former political rival, John Settor Dumelo, who was vying for the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary slot.

In the letter, Nuamah stressed the significance of unity within the NDC and vowed his support for the party’s unity and the President John Mahama project, which aims to rescue the country.

The decision follows a period of political contention between Nuamah and Dumelo, who engaged in a heated exchange during the 2020 elections.

Despite their past disagreements, Nuamah’s withdrawal and support for Dumelo demonstrate his commitment to the party’s cohesiveness.

“I fully endorse and lend my support to Mr. John Dumelo, my good friend and brother, to be the parliamentary candidate for the NDC in the Ayawaso West-Wuogon constituency,” the letter stated.
