Dancehall musician Shatta Wale expresses his appreciation for the public’s and his fans’ support amid his court struggles.
The musician praised the judge and his attorney in a tweet.
“Being thankful and expressing gratitude is an important part of being happy in life. I wish to take this opportunity to say thank you to my Lawyer, Jerry, the Judge, Shatta Movement and the entire nation for the support through these trying times. #OnGod”
Shatta Wale entered a guilty plea to the allegation of disseminating false information on social media early this morning, June 29, 2022.
The artist’s marketing stunt from late last year, which implied he had been shot, led to the allegation.
The dancehall act had never been admitted to a hospital in Accra, according to the Ghana Police Service, which looked into the accusations to determine whether they were true or not.
Later, Shatta acknowledged that the shooting was a hoax intended to highlight a false prediction made about him.
