President John Dramani Mahama has lamented the state of the Ghanaian economy following his takeover of power from the previous government.
In a meeting with stakeholders and executives at the Ministry of Employment and Labour Unions in Accra, with the Finance Minister also in attendance, President Mahama indicated that Ghana is now a crime scene due to how the economy was managed by the Akufo-Addo-led administration.
“One thing that is a cardinal principle for all of us is to tell the truth at all times.
We all knew that the economy was in crisis but some of the things I’m discovering myself has been the criminal handling of our economy and Ghana is a crime scene.
Because how a government can be so reckless I cannot understand but we are faced with a reality and our options are very few.”
John Mahama urged Ghanaians to join hands and sacrifice to make Ghana a better place for all of us.
