GHANA NEEDS TRUMP-LIKE KENNEDY AGYAPONG AS PRESIDENT IN 2024 – Music Producer, Appietus

Appietus, one of the pioneers of Ghana’s music industry, recently said that the nation needs a “strongman” as its next president.

Due to the current condition of affairs, he added, Ghanaians must elect a strong leader who is not afraid to take risks, like former U.S. President Donald Trump.

He used this information to argue that Kennedy Agyapong, the MP for Assin Central, is a suitable candidate.

Appiatus told Class 91.3FM’s Class Morning Show presenter Kofi Oppong Asamoah on Friday, 14 October 2022, “someone like Mahama, I dey feel am waa, I won’t lie, I truly like Mahama, he doesn’t know but I like him. The way he is makes me happy.

“During his time, [as president], people were attacking this man and even when he got angry, the way he talked: ‘you’ve not been a president before’ (Appiatus said in a soft voice to mimic Mahama), he’s just a gentleman, I think he’s so gentle that it’s a problem, I feel that where Ghana has gotten to, we don’t need gentle people again.”

He noted that “when Kennedy Agyapong said he wanted to stand, (contest as president), ‘I said this man should come’; we need a ‘Trump’ to come and stir up things because where we’ve reached, we need a president that can fight with someone on social media, so I wish Kennedy Agyapong will be president in 2024 because Mahama is too gentle; when he talks, we won’t listen…”

As a side note, Kwame APlus recently said that Kennedy Agyapong will be elected as the NPP’s next flagbearer.

APlus said in a social media post that Agyapong’s ability to constructively criticize his party when necessary is a strength that would play well ith voters.

His comments were in response to an NPP allegation that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) planned and carried out an assault on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at a performance in Accra over the weekend.

As there are documented cases of NPP members being dissatisfied with the current administration, he criticized the message as being illogical.
