GHANA POLICE FINED GH¢100K FOR IGNORING RTI COMMISSION’S ORDERS
The Ghana Police Service has been fined GH¢100,000 for its refusal to comply with the Right to Information (RTI) Commission’s directives, which required granting an applicant access to the requested information, citinewsroom reports.
The Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI), Africa, had sought information on the status of cases involving police brutality.
