The Ghana Police Service has interdicted Detective Corporal Baba Amando Ibrahim, stationed at the Tuna Police Station in the Savannah Region, for alleged professional misconduct.

According to a statement issued by the Police Service, the interdiction is to pave the way for a thorough investigation into the officer’s actions, in line with the Police Service Regulations.

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, has personally reached out to the family of the victim, offering assurances of support.
