GHANA WINS ‘BEST JOLLOF’ AT 3RD MADE-IN-GHANA BAZAAR

The long-standing debate over which country has the best jollof rice has finally been settled at the “Jollof Wars” competition held during the 3rd Made-in-Ghana Bazaar.

Classfmonline reports that Ghana emerged victorious, claiming the title for the best Jollof, followed by Nigeria in second place and The Gambia in third.

Jollof rice is a rice dish from West Africa. The dish is typically made with long-grain rice, tomatoes, chillies, onions, spices, and sometimes other vegetables and/or meat in a single pot.

Its ingredients and preparation methods vary across different regions.

The 3rd Made-in-Ghana Bazaar, a flagship program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, commenced on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Centre. The event, themed “Promoting Made-in-Ghana Goods and Services for Economic Prosperity,” showcased a variety of local products and services.
