GHANAIAN ARTIST, WYLLBEE KILLED BY MOB AFTER CHEATING GIRLFRIEND DENIED KNOWING HIM IN KUMASI

NKONKONSA.com has learned about the heartbreaking demise of a young Ghanaian artist named Nana Yaw who goes by the stage name, Wyllbee.

Wyllbee lost his life after some unknown hoodlums pummeled him following a misleading tip-off that he was a thief and the sad event occurred in Tanoso, Kumasi.

Our news desk was informed by the elder brother of Wyllbee, Wofa Yaw that Wyllbee who lives at Sowutuom in Accra, travelled to Kumasi for some personal endeavours and had visited his girlfriend whilst in Kumasi, and accused her of orchestrating the death of his brother

One Ohemaa had also revealed that unknowing to Wyllbee, his girlfriend whose name is disclosed as Naana at the time of filing this report has a fiance who lives in Spain and was living in his boyfriend’s residence in Kumasi and when he about leaving the house, one of the sisters of the lady’s fiancé saw him on the compound and asked Wyllbee who he was and what he was doing in the house.

Wyllbee responded by saying he came to visit Naana but Naana after being called to confirm his knowledge of Wyllbee denied knowing him this raised suspicions in the to-be sister-in-law causing her to raise an alarm as she shouted ‘thief’ and Naana also joined in the alarm.

According to Ohemaa’s account, the alarm drew neighbours’ attention who thronged with haste into the house wielding stones and sticks and started beating him till he lost his life.

The deceased brother told NKONKONSA.com that the matter after it was reported to the police was taken to court and the judge who refused to hear the defence of the girlfriend, Naana and the fiance’s sister ordered the police to remand them adjourning the case to June 23, 2024, in Kumasi.

Wyllbee’s body has been deposited in the morgue pending investigations into the matter.

Meanwhile, the family of the late Wyllbee, an Afrobeat singer has cried out to the Law Enforcement agencies and authorities for justice for their believed brother and son.

We are following this case to bring you updates to this story.
