Ghanaian youth have been characterised as being lazy by Kwadwo Safo Jnr, the Chief Executive Officer of the Kantanka group of firms and son of popular entrepreneur and religious leader, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.
Many Ghanaians believe that the president’s failure to change the cabinet and fire the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta, is to blame for the current economic crisis and Cedi’s depreciation.
While the majority of Ghanaians are criticising the current administration and blaming them for the country’s economic crisis and lack of competency, Kwadwo Safo Jr., CEO of the Kantanka Group of Companies, has a different viewpoint.
Kwadwo Safo Jnr claims that the youth of this nation have failed to enter the world of enterprise, particularly farming, due to their laziness.
Kwadwo Safo who is the ex-husband of talented and gorgeous Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim and shares a son with her continued by saying that not all of the country’s residents’ misfortunes are the fault of the government.
In a tweet sighted on his page, he wrote, “Youth in farming is the way forward. In every small way, anyone can. Plant something. Government isn’t responsible for it all. No. We the citizens should also take responsibility. The youth of today are honestly lazy. Nobody wants to get his hands dirty”.
