GHANAIANS SHOULD FOCUS ON WHAT I WILL DO FOR THEM, NOT WHERE I GOT MY MONEY FROM – Nana Kwame Bediako

The Founder of the New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, has urged Ghanaians not to probe the source of his money, but to concentrate on the progress he can bring to the country.

He claims that the inquiry into his financial background is prejudicial and does not fairly represent the amount of labor and sacrifice he has made to earn his fortune.

Speaking on Tuesday on Asempa FM’s Ekosiisen, Mr. Bediako emphasized that Ghanaians should rejoice and learn from individuals who have achieved great success rather than criticizing or questioning them.

“If someone makes money and decides to spend it, I can’t question him. He can decide to use it for what he wants even if he wants to use his money to buy beer and khebab.” he said.

He revealed that he began earning money while working for a telecom company, which he later sold and began to resell scraps.

“It went from the scraps to collecting piles of scraps, then I give it to the steel yards. The steel yards are the ones who buy steel and right now a company like B5 also buys scraps which they use for iron rods and sell.”

“When I made my money, I started a business in Ghana and the business is what I’m investing in the country. So if Ghanaians don’t like this, then what do they like,” he asked.
