Controversial media practitioner and investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni stated that Nana Akufo Addo’s negative reception at the Global Citizen Festival represents the authentic voice of the people.
Manasseh Azure Awuni made the point that the Black Star Square incident serves as a reality check for the president and his coterie of inept people, unlike professional praise singers and bootlickers who will not see anything wrong with the existing state of governance.
Manasseh said having President Akufo-Addo booed as he arrived to give a speech, was a vote on his presidency, and he had two years to save his material ineptitude.
His post on Sunday, September 25 read: “Mr President, for their selfish goals, chiefs, paid praise singers and sycophants will continue to sing insincere praises of you. But what you heard at the #globalcitizensfestival is the truest voice of the people, a referendum on your regime. You have two years to salvage it.”
