The recent comments made by Apostle Francis Amoako, a well-known clergyman from Ghana, have initiated discussions about the country’s upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.
During an interview on Lawson FM, Apostle Amoako discussed a prophetic view on the political future of the country, specifically emphasizing the role of opposition leader and National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.
During the broadcast, Apostle Amoako reflected on the challenges facing both Ghana and the world. “The world is in chaos,” he stated. “Ghana is no exception. To navigate these challenges, we need a leader who is not only courageous but unconventional in their approach.”
At first, the clergyman’s remarks appeared unclear, but he clarified by indicating Mahama as the chosen leader to steer the nation during these chaotic times.
“God is not finished with Mahama yet,” he boldly declared. “He is being prepared for a return in 2024 to address the issues caused by the current administration.”
Apostle Amoako elaborated that Mahama frequently shows up in his dreams, which he views as a sign from God confirming his beliefs.
“Every time I pray for clarity, the answer is the same: Mahama’s return is destined by God. He is chosen to help the people of Ghana in these trying times,” he revealed.
Apostle Amoako used scripture to show how Mahama’s journey is like David’s in the Bible.
“David wasn’t perfect. The Bible doesn’t record all his flaws, but God still chose him to lead His people,” he said. “In the same way, Mahama’s past challenges are part of his preparation. Just as David rose from being overlooked to becoming king, so will Mahama rise again to fulfil his purpose.”
Apostle Amoako’s comments have generated enthusiasm and controversy, leading to discussions on the spiritual and political meanings of his prediction.
