Satirist Kweku Sintim Misa, better known by his stage name KSM, has poured cold water on Nana Akufo Addo’s famed slogan, ‘the battle is the Lord’s’ in a new post he shared on Twitter.
KSM, who has recently become quite outspoken about political difficulties in the nation, claims that while Ghana has always asked God for assistance, even with its developmental problems, it is never the Lord’s responsibility to build Ghana.
He suggested that rather than waiting for God to intervene when leadership and action are needed, it is time to hold individuals in positions of authority responsible in order to fix the country.
“Don’t be DECEIVED. The RESPONSIBILITY of building a nation is “NOT THE LORD’S”. IT IS OURS. If we FORGET that, we will end up with an UNWANTED “HAIRCUT”” he said in a tweet.
