President-elect and winner of 2024 elections, John Dramani Mahama has shown his appreciation to God for demonstrating His strength in his life.
In his view, God has demonstrated His power significantly in his life, and he cannot refute that reality.
John Dramani Mahama was speaking to Ghanaians for the first time since being announced as the victor of the 2024 elections.
John Dramani Mahama seized the chance to praise his Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang for being a beacon for women and inspiring them with the belief that they can achieve their aspirations.
He said while expressing gratitude to his family that “I thank God for preparing a table before me in the presence of my enemies. We all acquainted with this Bible verse and also anointing my head with oil and make it in my cup runneth over.
I give thanks to my wife Lordina Mahama; and my family my children my siblings and all my extended family for standing by me through all these difficult times when victory and success became out of sight” H.E John Mahama said.
“I’d like to thank the vice president elect Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang for being ab exemplary figure. Naana your decency your humility and your sense of responsibility is overwhelming. As you said you have not only open the door but you keep the door open for any other women.
Your name has become synonymous,breaking boundaries and like I said you’re flipping the door of opportunity for other females. Because of you, the people of Ghana celebrate the fact that we’ve made history by electing our first woman as vice president”, John Mahama added
