Felix Kwakye Ofosu mentioned that the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) is waiting for approval from Alban Bagbin, the Speaker of Parliament. They need this approval to question Assin South MP, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour.
This is because the MP hasn’t responded to any security agencies’ invitations after saying that two planes, full of drugs and cash, recently landed in Ghana.
Kwakye Ofosu, speaking on Channel One TV, emphasized the importance of making the process transparent.
“The NIB has officially written to the Speaker to release Ntim Fordjour. We are waiting for his response. And personally, I have asked that the interrogation be made public,” he said.
