HAJIA BINTU, FELLA MAKAFUI ARE LIARS AND USELESSS CELEBS – MC Yaa Yeboah Fumes Over Slimming Products

MC Yeboah, a Ghanaian media personality, has expressed concerns about the safety and effectiveness of teas and other products marketed to slim the body and enhance buttocks and breasts, specifically targeting female celebrities.

Based on personal experience and worries about a friend’s health, she voiced doubt, highlighting that none of these items have proven to be effective, mentioning a friend who got an infection from using one.

Her comments were in response to Medikal’s recent statements that revealed his former wife, Fella Makafui, had a tummy tuck surgery to boost her slim tea business.

Following strong public criticism and allegations of dishonesty, Fella has been widely criticized, with doubts raised about the effectiveness of her goods and some customers choosing to boycott them.

MC Yeboah has added to the long list of critics by referring to Fella Makafui as phoney and dishonest, expressing the same lack of trust towards celebrities engaged in similar activities.

She doubted the scientific evidence supporting the effectiveness of specific teas and body enhancement products, feeling frustrated by celebrities endorsing these items without proof.

She emphasized the negative effects of using those products, showing care for consumers’ health and well-being.

“Can anybody show me which science makes the ass and breast fat by using these products because I have a school daughter who is suffering from an infection just because of these products? Just because of these useless celebrities…

“You people will go and fix your bodies, go and pump fat into your breast and buttocks and you’ll come and sell tea that you imported from China to us? It saddens me that sometimes the FDA goes ahead to approve some of these drugs without doing due diligence. It’s not just Fella Makafui doing these things. There are a lot of them. These influencers have undergone surgery to advertise these products,” she fumed during a discussion on Neat FM.

She added, “The likes of Hajia Bintu and Chichi are all doing it. Are they all not liars? Are they not fake? And you call yourselves celebrities… Or you don’t know that as celebrities, people reference you as an authority in society. What is that? Why?”
