Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, commonly known as Bullgod, the ex-manager of famous Ghanaian artist Shatta Wale, has publicly condemned Blakk Cedi, the former manager of Stonebwoy, for collaborating with Shatta Wale at Vybz Kartel’s Freedom Street Concert held in Jamaica.
During an interview on Joy Prime, Bullgod referred to Blakk Cedi’s public recognition of his contribution to the project as a massive betrayal to Stonebwoy.
Bullgod queried the reason for Blakk Cedi’s post and conveyed discontent over what he viewed as a betrayal.
“We’ve met on different platforms, and as event people, we usually want to support our Ghanaian artistes. That’s how I initially saw the whole thing,” Bullgod said.
“But when I saw his post, saying he was part of Shatta’s team, it felt off. For me, it was a huge stab in the back for Stonebwoy. I don’t know how Stone will feel, but I know he won’t be happy about this.”
Although he was upset, he recognized Shatta Wale’s achievement with the event, calling it the realization of a long-cherished aspiration.
“I’m happy for Shatta. This is historic. Whether we’re with him or not, it’s a dream we started, and it’s amazing to see it come to life,” he said.
