Social media users have commended actor John Dumelo for his efforts in providing water to help residents in Okponglo, located in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency of the Greater Accra Region.
Lately, the residents of the neighborhood have been experiencing a severe lack of water due to the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) repairing a few broken pipes.
The lack of supply caused numerous residents to voice their grievances, catching the attention of aspiring Member of Parliament, John Setor Dumelo.
Upon learning about the hardships, Dumelo arranged for water tanks to distribute free water in the community.
Reacting to the video, one @isaacahayes on Instagram wrote; “Atp he’s proven he’s for the people 👏”
DJ anag also wrote; “I think JD has earned his rank to be MP….I hope the ppl taking water wld remember his good deeds. Only in Ghana that u have provide water and do the most…😂”
