M3nsa, a Ghanaian rapper has disapproved of the court’s decision on a minor offense committed by a motor rider.
The rapper responded on Twitter to a Starr FM item about an Okada rider who was sentenced to 15 years in prison for stealing someone’s cellphone.
The report claims that Emmanuel Waki, a motorcyclist, was sentenced to 15 years in prison after admitting guilt to robbing a bystander of his cellphone in front of the Police CID Headquarters.

After seizing the robber’s phone, the police allegedly gave pursue, apprehending the okada rider known as Salifu. Salifu then took the police to Old Fadama, where they apprehended the robber Waki.
M3nsa responded to the news by expressing disbelief at how the accused was sentenced to 15 years in prison for such a minor offense.
He wrote on Twitter, “People are poor, and hungry, and desperate. Committing petty crimes in front of even more corrupt institutions and personnel doesn’t change the core of the issue,” his tweet on January 5, 2023, read. “15yrs for what?
