I AM NOT BOTHERED BY DEATH PROPHECIES, I HEAR THEM EVERY MONTH – Kofi Kinaata

Ghanaian highlife musician, Kofi Kinaata, claims certain prophets have prophesied his death, but he is unfazed.

This is in response to a widely shared video in which a pastor asks people to pray for Kinaata, saying he has received a heavenly word that his life is in jeopardy.

In response to the prophecy, Kinaata stated in an interview on Joy Prime’s morning show that he was aware of it but that it didn’t matter to him.

“I don’t even want to talk about it. That’s what he has seen, and he’s saying it. Maybe me too; I have seen it, and I haven’t come out to say it,” he said.

According to Kinaata, since he began performing music, he has heard about these prophecies on a monthly basis, thus they were also common in his life.

“I hear this every month, sometimes in a month it would come from different places,” he added.

He made it clear that his five-times-a-day prayer habit stems from his Christian faith rather than from apprehension about these prophecies, and he wants to disassociate himself from such dire forecasts.

He made these remarks during his media trip to promote his new album, “Kofi O Kofi,” which is set to be released at the end of April 2024.
