Award winning rapper and CEO of Sarkcess Music, Michael Owusu Addo professionally called Sarkodie has orally admitted that he cannot rub shoulders with the Kumerica boys when it comes to drill music despite been a fan of the music they do.
According to him, he likes the sound and appreciates the work the new artistes are putting in order to popularize the drill thingy but he feels it is not his thing.
Sarkodie added that although he can rap on the drill beat he does not think he can convey all his thoughts and emotions as perfectly as he should.
‘I love drill music, I love to listen to it. The stuff they talk about suit the genre. People push me to do drill music which I can since I rap. But I feel, the authentic drill has a message that I like but cannot relate to talking about it,”
