Socialite and actress, Efia Odo has made it clear that she still believes in love and relationships, and has not lost hope.
After several unsuccessful relationships, the actress took to social media to declare her decision to no longer engage in romantic relationships with men.
Nevertheless, during an interview on 3FM Lounge on Wednesday, August 14, the actress revealed that she is now being careful in selecting her romantic partners and entering into relationships.
“My name is Efia Odo, I am love and I give out love and can’t give up on love so I am taking it slow,” she noted.
She mentioned feeling uncomfortable around Ghanaian men, despite having high hopes of finding love and a genuine connection in Ghana.
“The guys here, I don’t know. There’s something because I came into this country optimistic, full of love and altruistic but the system here will change your way of thinking and way of being because it’s just different,” she added.
She also acknowledged that she could be the reason for issues in her romantic relationships because she loves intensely.
Nevertheless, Efia mentions that she has learned to prioritize loving herself and is now selective about who she decides to love.
“Me, I can meet you today and I will do everything for you because I feel like that is how we all should be as human beings. We should be loving and supporting each other, but I have to come to learn that first of all when you love yourself, you don’t allow people to love you the way they should,” she stated.
