Actress Lydia Forson expresses that while she is pleased with her roads being repaired three months prior to the elections, she has doubts about the government’s reliability regarding the work completed.
She believes that the government is repairing the roads solely to gain the people’s votes.
The actress, recognized for criticizing the government for its shortcomings, expressed that her concerns arise from the project’s neglect over the years.
In her view, perhaps the government will cease roadwork immediately after the elections.
Making this position known in a tweet shared via X, she said “I’m very happy that my road has been done, I’m enjoying it paaaa. But if for years a project has been abandoned and 3 months to an election there’s more progress than in years- I’m going to ask to know WHY? How do I trust that it won’t be abandoned again after the elections?”
