FANS ARE WELCOME BUT DON’T OVERSTAY YOUR VISA – US Gov’t Warns Visiters Over 2026 FIFA World Cup

TRUMP

Cabinet members of U.S. President Donald Trump have provided a serious caution to international travelers intending to visit the FIFA World Cup in the United States next year.

Cabinet members of Trump state that football fans are allowed in the USA, but they should be cautious about overstaying their visas.

The cabinet members, however, encouraged guests to discover the USA while visiting the locations and experiencing the lively American culture.

In a viral video posted on the social media platform X, U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated, “Of course, everybody is welcome to come and see this event, I know we will have visitors from close to 100 countries.

We want them to come, we want them to celebrate, we want them to watch the games. But when the time is up, they will have to go home — otherwise, they’ll have to talk to the Secretary”.

The U.S. Secretary of Transportation also encouraged visitors to explore more of the country during their stay, but warned about the need to respect visa rules.

He added, “We’re going to encourage everyone to go on a road trip to celebrate our great country. So if you’re coming to see some soccer, go on a road trip and see America. Don’t overstay your visa.

Don’t stay too long. But when you come, actually see this great country that we’re going to celebrate over the course of the next year and again we welcome everyone, this team will work to ensure the event goes on without a hitch”.
