One of the controversial Ghanaian socialites Rosemond Alade Brown, also known as Akuapem Poloo has gotten a lot of people talking after her new step into the Islamic religion.
In the late hours of yesterday, Akuapem Poloo shared photos of herself in Islamic regalia amongst her fellow Muslim brothers and sisters as she announced her conversion from the Christian religion into the Islam religion.
In the set of photos, the actress was seen clothed in Muslim regalia while holding an ablution can and a prayer mat.
She captioned her post:
“Alhamdulillah full Muslim now ???????????? thanks to the Deputy Imam of ASWAJ Ga West and Cheif Imam on Nsakina Quran Reciter and his board for assisting in this ????????”.
The actress has finally addressed those talking about her conversion and has also revealed why she converted into a Muslim.
In a video that has been deleted from her page, Akuapem Poloo stated that she is aware of what she is doing and that there was no form of pressure on her to convert to the Islamic religion; nevertheless, she has been a lover of the Islamic religion for a long time.
She also disclosed that the father of her son is a Muslim, hence making her son a Muslim as well. Lamenting how some people have questioned her motive behind her conversion, Akuapem Poloo issued a warning to those criticizing her, saying their criticism might cause them problems if they don’t desist from it.
