Actress, Nana Ama McBrown has shared details about her present connection with her father.
During her program on Onua TV, she admitted that despite not having a relationship with her father during her childhood, she has decided to forgive him and move on, recognizing that he is still her father
“Growing up, I didn’t have a relationship with my dad. But now I’ve realised that no matter what, he is still my dad. My mother did not introduce anyone else to me as my father, but him,” she retorted.
The Onua Showtime host mentioned that her father now lives in Akyem Asuom and is more famous than the chief there.
“My father is very much alive. If you go to Akyem Asuom, and you ask about him, everyone will show you. He is even more popular than the chief. If you ask of Nana Ama’s father, everyone will show you.
“I always tell him to look after himself very well, because I believe people who don’t mean me well, can even get me through him. Or someone can even trigger him to act in a certain way,” she stated.
Despite any difficulties, McBrown urged people who have tense relationships with their fathers to reconcile and forgive them.
“Let’s accept our fathers, regardless of who they are. If you have the power to transform their lives, do it. If you don’t, just pray for them,” McBrown added.
McBrown recently celebrated her 47th birthday at the Onua Showtime studios with the attendance of numerous guests, including her birth mother.
