I DIDN’T KNOW WHO PIESIE ESTHER WAS UNTIL I HEARD ALL THE BUZZ ON HER ‘WAYE ME YIE’ SONG – Sonnie Badu

Award-winning Ghanaian gospel singer, Sonnie Badu claims he never knew who Piesie Esther was till her song, ‘Waye Me Yie’ got popular.

Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime’s ‘Showbiz A-Z, the founder of Rockhill Church in Atlanta acknowledged Gospel minister, Piesie Esther for the hard work she put in the song, and her big win as the 2023 VGMA Gospel Artiste of the year.

“I didn’t know Piesie until I heard a lot of people talk about ‘Waye Me Yie’.

“Piesie is well-packaged from visuals to graphics to everything, so whoever is behind her has to push her because the visuals are good and she is a show girl, you can see that,” he said.

According to Sonnie Badu, he has billed Piesie Esther for his upcoming program scheduled for December 9, 2023.
