Actress Yvonne Nelson has denied claims that she is one of the frustrated customers of Menzgold Ghana Limited who invested huge sums of money into the company’s gold dealings.
Menzgold Ghana has shutdown since September 2018 and a bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of all directors of the company for failure to refund client’s monies.
The CEO of the company, Nana Appiah Mensah, who is popularly known as NAM1, has been trending on both social and traditional media circles since the warrant of arrest was issued.
A list of alleged frustrated customers of Menzgold circulating on social media mentioned Yvonne Nelson and other celebrities. But Yvonne said she is not a customer. She has never stepped foot in the offices of Menzgold before.
“Whoever is using my image in this Menzgold crap better watch out! I don’t have any investment with them! Why don’t you write about their artistes? Rubbish,” he said on Twitter.
“Cut this bullshit! Not in the mood! Have never even entered their office,” she also said on Instagram.
Meanwhile, on Friday, Yvonne Nelson announced her new movie titled ‘Sin City’.
Produced by her YN Productions, it will premiere on Val’s Day February 14 at Silverbird Cinemas at the Accra and West Hill Malls.
‘Sin City’ tells the story of Philip (Kunle Remi) and Julia (Yvonne Nelson), a couple high up on the ladder of success and living the dream life. Their marriage seems perfect except for the suppressed fact the couple can’t seem to get to spend time with each other owing to Philips’ frequent trips.
Finally when they decide to spend time together and go away for a few days, there come the twists and turns of that movie enthusiasts will see for themselves. It also stars Adjetey Annan, Regina Van-Helvert, Kweku Elliot and a host of others.
