Media personality and television presenter, Nana Yaa Brefo lashed out at Prophet Salifu Amoako’s followers for assaulting a journalist.
Bishop Amoako was arrested and taken to court last week after his son caused an accident in East Legon which resulted in the deaths of two children.
Following his apprehension, he was brought to the courtroom where a scuffle ensued as parishioners tried to prevent the media from capturing footage of the religious leader.
Some reporters were attacked but surprisingly, nobody has been apprehended since that incident.
However, Nana Yaa Brefo criticized the followers of Bishop Amoako extensively on a radio show.
She believes that their actions are tarnishing the reputation of God and Christianity.
