Singer, Fameye has expressed that whenever he mentions marijuana use in his music, he is representing those without a voice.
He claims that he doesn’t smoke, so any song he mentions about marijuana serves merely as a support for the voiceless.
“It is my craft, I don’t smoke. However, if I smoke, it should not be anyone’s concern. We talk for the voiceless all the time,” he said.
“When people say I do drugs, I get worried, so it is something I’m so concerned about. My fans should fight whoever says I do drugs because I don’t,” he said.
In response to a video of his performance labeled as him being under the influence, he mentioned that he has an alter ego named Peter, and when he embodies this alter ego, he feels quite unique.
In his view, anyone who labels him as a smoker is misleading others and needs to be addressed.
