Wode Maya has clapped back at naysayers and mockers who make fun of him for wearing chalewote.
Wode Maya slammed her detractors in an exclusive interview with TV3 New Day, telling them to concentrate on his contributions to society rather than his appearance.
Wode Maya remarked that he is contributing to the nation’s promotion, but that appearance is what most people notice.
Wode Maya asserts that he would rather utilize his enormous financial resources to aid the underprivileged and disadvantaged than to spend it on pricey shoes.
For the first time, the YouTuber acknowledged that he looks after over 100 kids, some of whom attend tertiary institutions.
I have over 100 people in Kumasi that are going for free education because of me. I have university students for that I pay their fees. I paid a lot of school fees in January.
“I do things that really matter. It’s not about physical appearance. People are telling me that I’m wearing slippers. Even when i was in the village, I never had slippers.”
Wode Maya also linked an incident that supported his choice to dress casually. During his visit to China, he had the chance to meet a millionaire for the first time.
Sadly, I passed the wealthy man at the gate because he was wearing a shirt and shorts and a casual outfit. Instead, he entered the building to adore his bosses who were dressed in suits.
“I don’t want to look rich. I want to create wealth. I want to impact people’s lives. You can talk as much as you want, but I’m just doing my thing. I’m not seeing anyone,” Wode Mayaconcluded.
