Anita said on Instagram Stories that she wished to compete in the Miss Malaika Pageant at the Ghana Institute of Journalism after she reached level 200.
She claimed that she had always dreamed of working on television and that Miss Malaika would be the ideal means of achieving her goal.
However, after talking to her partner about it, he was strongly against the plan even after she explained to him all the advantages of competing in the pageant.
He even asked her to decide between following her job and him. Anita made the courageous decision to pursue her job and went on to try out for the Miss Malaika Pageant, demonstrating her self-awareness.
Her decision has now paid off, as she has been able to get multiple ambassadorial positions.
Anita continued by advising young ladies to surround themselves with positive role models.
