Gospel singer Diana Hamilton recently shared about her six-year path to becoming a mother, showing deep appreciation for the assistance she received throughout the process.
During a conversation with Caleb Nii Boye, she mentioned that she did not feel any pressure from her family or friends when it came to her desire to have a child.
“We faced no issues or pressure, not from my in-laws or my family. Even my manager didn’t know I was hoping for a child. My husband and I wanted this together, and he never pressured me; his family didn’t either. They all prayed for us,” she shared.
Diana acknowledged the emotional challenges of waiting, saying, “As a woman, it’s natural to feel anxious after the first year of marriage. By the second year, you might worry, and by the third, it can be really hard to hear the odd comments that shake your confidence.”
To those going through similar struggles, she advises, “Trust in God, because His word promises that there shall be no barren in His house. In due time, He will answer your prayers. In the meantime, cherish your marriage, as life will change once children arrive. And don’t forget to pray.”
